We started First Class Loans in 1999 and have been helping thousands of people to achieve their goals.

Our history

First Class Loans was founded in 1999 and based in Sydney.  First Class Loans have three experienced loan writers having over 50 years combined lending experience.

We operate out of our 165 year old heritage house office in Richmond. It is understood the heritage house was one of the original houses in Richmond and was built in 1847 circa.  Completely renovated in 2016, it has been restored to what it originally looked like.  We love the character and love to show people around it.

The founding director is David Donnelly who started lending around 1990 and whilst he knows a few things about loans, maintains “he is still learning” .  David loves to meet his clients and form good relationships  for life with them.

David Refalo has years of property and lending experience and loves to chat over a coffee and help find solutions for people.  His passion is to create clients for life.

Tim Flood has a Masters Degree in Economics and has been working with us for over 16 years.  He provides fantastic advise and works with his clients for the best short, medium and long term solutions.

We are a team of loan writers who have many years experience in the lending industry.  We can show you some of the tricks the banks try o keep secret from you.

One of the things many neglect is a regular review of your loans.  What might be a great deal today may not be so good in a couple years.  We review your whole portfolio at no cost and look for ways to save you money.

We have access to provide you with RP Data property reports – the same ones used by many major lenders (such as CBA) to value properties.  Give us the address – we’ll send you the report.  This is very useful when you are looking at buying or perhaps getting a top up.

Discussion

The first step is to have a chat with us to work out the best way forward.  We set up a meeting.

Meeting

We sit down with you and listen to what you want to achieve.  We take down some details and then give you a few suggestions of the best way forward.

Application

Once we all agree on the best way forward, we prepare the application for you and get you to sign it and supply a few documents.  We then prepare the loan submission to ensure you get the best options and rates possible.

Loan Approved

We submit the loan application and deal with the lenders credit department.  We answer questions they may have and push to get the application approved as quickly as possible.

06

Submit to lender

Once we get the approval, we let you know the good news.  We then help you with the loan documents and ensure the loan gets settled in a timely manner.  We are always there to help you.
